Job Title: Senior Application Architect – Cloud, SaaS & SRE Focus

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Architect with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, testing, and improving enterprise-scale application solutions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Fusion ERP & HCM, and Oracle Databases. This is a deeply technical, hands-on role requiring strong architectural leadership, coding capability, and a relentless focus on cost efficiency, reliability, security, and SRE-driven operational excellence.

The Architect will be responsible for owning end-to-end application architecture, including high-level and low-level design, solution documentation, coding, testing, and continuous improvement of cloud-native and SaaS-integrated solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, SREs, and security teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and secure architectures aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and govern high-level and detailed application architectures across OCI, Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM, and Oracle Database platforms.
• Lead hands-on development, including writing application code, automation scripts, Infrastructure as Code, and integration components.
• Define and enforce SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, observability, reliability testing, and operational readiness.
• Perform architecture reviews to optimize cost, performance, availability, and scalability.
• Design and implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using OCI Logging Analytics and related tools.
• Own security architecture, including identity federation, access control, secrets management, and privileged access using Azure AD, CyberArk, and OCI security services.
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, project plans, migration strategies, and technical runbooks.
• Act as a technical escalation point and mentor engineers, promoting architectural best practices and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in application architecture and solutioning for enterprise systems.
• Deep expertise in OCI, Oracle Fusion ERP & HCM, Oracle Databases, and SaaS/PaaS integrations.
• Strong experience with cloud-native design, HA/DR architectures, and reliability engineering.
• Proven ability to code, test, and troubleshoot complex application solutions.
• Strong background in security architecture, IAM, Zero Trust concepts, and enterprise identity platforms.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

This role is not theoretical—hands-on keyboard execution is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate architectural depth, engineering rigor, and the ability to deliver resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions at scale.
