ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
KaMia Johnson
KaMia is a Client Relations leader with Apex. She is an extremely innovative and accomplished executive with over 15 years of experience in operations, finance, performance improvement, and project management who consistently ensures the long-term sustainability of improved outcomes by fostering collaborative, cooperative, and supportive relationships. KaMia is an energetic, ambitious, approachable, diligent, and focused transformational leader. KaMia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Healthcare from the Institute of Industrial and System Engineers.
John Gunja
John Gunja is a highly accomplished IT professional with over 19 years of experience specializing in Oracle technologies and applications. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from a reputed university. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep understanding of Oracle systems and a proven ability to implement innovative solutions that drive organizational success. He is known for his exceptional technical skills and ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Currently, John serves as the Oracle Practice Director for Apex, where he is responsible for overseeing the Oracle practice and driving customer engagement at Southern.
Krishnan Kasivishwanathan
Krishnan has an MBA and Master of Science degrees from the University of Connecticut. Krishnan is the Chief Innovation Officer for Innowatts, a Houston-based technology company that provides a scalable digital utility platform transforming how energy is bought, sold, managed, and consumed. Before joining Innowatts, he held several key positions at large energy companies, including Just Energy and NRG Energy.
Varun Numula
Varun Nomula has a Master’s in Analytics from Georgia Tech and is currently working as Principal AI/ML Engineer at Merck Pharmaceuticals. He is an accomplished professional with expertise in Advanced Data Analytics – Data Science, Data Engineering, and AI/machine learning. He is passionate about using data-driven insights to create client value and drive business growth. Varun is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the Southern Company team and explore the potential of AI/ML to enhance business operations and customer experiences.
